Allow ticket images to be added, deleted, or replaced regardless of whether the ticket has been billed or is on a pay statement.
We have two new permissions that can be set at either the “Role” or “User” level to provide the ability to edit some information that you previously couldn’t edit. The “Editing Quoted Values” allows you to edit quoted values on an order. Note that if you edit some of the values, the order will be disconnected from the quote since it is no longer based on quoted values.
The permission for “Edit Tickets that are on Invoices or Pay Statements” should typically not be given to anyone. It allows the person to edit data that will then be in disagreement with what was initially on an invoice or pay statement. If you edit tickets that are already on a pay statement or invoice, you need to be sure to update the value in your accounting and payroll systems.
When you have rights to “Edit Tickets that are on Invoices or Pay Statements”, you’ll see an “Edit” button in the upper right corner of each driver /job block that has been billed or pay statements tied to it. See the image below with the red square around it. When you click that button, you’ll see a warning like the one displayed below. If you click yes, you’ll be able to edit the data. Remember, this could leave your data between systems out of sync.
When we updated the library that generates the pdf files, there was a change to how the library functions. The new version of the library doesn’t allow pdf files to be treated as an image and be added to the pdf file being generated. It would cause an error if you tried to print a Delivery Report where some tickets were uploaded as pdfs.
If you are scanning tickets and use the delivery report, be sure to output the scans as a gif, jpg, or png image.
If you have some pdf tickets, you’ll be able to print the Delivery Report, but it won’t include the pdf tickets. We provide a warning on the report so you’ll know their were pdf tickets.
In a future update we’ll figure out how to convert these pdf files to images for you so they can be included.
We added the following columns to the “Transaction Pro Export” file.
We also fixed a case where the “Description” wasn’t being filled when the job was split into separate lines for freight and material.
