We added the ability to set up rate charts based on zones. These charts specify the haul rate per ton per mile traveled. When this function is enabled, the application will calculate the haul rate based on the calculated distance and look up the material rate and show them on a dropdown so you can choose which location to get your product from. The freight and/or material rates will be set as the default on the quote or job.
This functionality can add consistency to your pricing and reduce the time the dispatcher spends looking up the mileage on a map.
