Driver App Read Me First

Dump Truck Dispatcher has native apps for Android and iOS as well as a progressive web application(PWA). Our recommendation for new customers is to use the native apps.

The progressive web app (PWA) is the simplest option and has been in use for many years. It is web-based and updates automatically. Its functionality includes:

  • Displaying the single dispatch the driver should or will be working on next.
  • Allowing the driver to acknowledge the dispatch and update its status.
  • Allowing the driver to add tickets and signatures.
  • Allowing the driver to clock-in and clock-out.

We have native mobile versions of the “Dump Truck Tracker” app. This app has more functionality. The functionality includes:

  • Display a list of all dispatches.
  • Allowing the driver to acknowledge the dispatches and update their status.
  • Allowing the driver to add tickets and signatures.
  • Allowing the driver to clock-in and clock-out.
  • Messaging between driver and dispatchers.
  • Display the driver’s time for the week.

The native mobile versions of the “Dump Truck Tracker” app can be found at the following links:

We plan to continue adding functionality to the native apps. The PWA app will not see many updates, but it will continue to be available in the foreseeable future.
